- Instructions on how to claim the gift form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. This Promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or promotion involving Panasonic products.

The Promotion begins on 24/10/2009 and ends at 11:59pm AEDST on 24/12/2009 (“Promotion Period”) or until the gifts included in this promotion are exhausted whichever occurs first.

There are a total of 44,000 gifts available in this promotion but gifts are limited to the following pieces: 12,000 x DMC-FT1 Lumix Digital Camera (colour awarded will be orange), RP – SDW04G 4GB Class 10 SD Card and DMW-CFT1-D FT1 Orange Case valued at RRP$643, 16,000 x DMR-XW350 DVD Recorder valued at RRP$1099 and 16,000 x SC-BT200 Home Theatre System valued at RRP$1099. Claimants must choose only one (1) gift listed in clause 11 and the Promotion will be limited to the first 44,000 valid claims received. Where a gift has reached the limit of specified pieces a Claimant may only choose from one (1) of the remaining gifts.

This Promotion is open to all Australian residents. Employees and directors of the Promoter, the Promoter’s related companies or any agencies involved in this Promotion, and the immediate families of each of those persons are eligible to participate in this Promotion provided that they purchase a new Participating Product.

Claimants must Purchase and pay in full for any Panasonic VIErA Full High Definition (“Full-HD”) Plasma TV (“Participating Product”) from an authorised Panasonic participating retailer during the Promotion Period. Stock in each participating retailer is subject to availability and it is the responsibility of the purchaser to check stock availability with the authorised Panasonic participating retailer.

Claimants who purchase the Participating Product during the Promotion Period are entitled to submit a claim for one (1) of three (3) gifts in accordance with clause 7 and 8.

Claimants must follow the claim process below in order to obtain their gift where the authorised participating Panasonic retailer does not place the Claimants purchase on backorder for the Participating Product and delivers the Participating Product at the time of purchase:

Pay $17.50 for postage and fulfilment by credit card when submitting the claim in accordance with Item 7(b).

To claim, individuals must register their purchase online by visiting www.panasonic.com.au/bonushd, following the prompts to the competition claim form, inputting the requested details including their full name, postal address, valid email address, serial number and model number from their product purchased, store of purchase, date of purchase, credit card details for the payment of $17.50 for postage and fulfilment and nominate which gift they would like to receive (gifts specified in clause 8) and submitting the fully completed online form. Payment of $17.50 for postage and fulfilment can only be made via credit card and payment will be processed at the time the claim is submitted online.
Claimants will then receive an email from the Promoter confirming that their claim form has been submitted and will include a unique claim number for future tracking of the claim (“Confirmation Email”).
Claimants must then print off their online claim form, make record of their unique claim number, and mail both the online claim form and their original purchase receipt to ‘Panasonic VIErA Bonus Offer’ PO Box 566, Eastern Suburbs MC, NSW 2004. All mail must be posted within 21 days of the purchase date found on the purchase receipt in order to claim a gift. Final Claims close last mail on 14/01/10.

Claimants must follow the claim process below where the Participating product is placed on backorder by the authorised Panasonic participating retailer.

If a Participating Product is on back order claimants must complete the following within 21 days purchase: back ordered products means, the situation where the order has been placed and paid for in full between 24/10/09 and 24/12/09, but the Participating Product has not been delivered by the manufacturer to the retailer.

Back order claim: claimants must visit www.panasonic.com.au/bonushd within 21 days of the purchase of their Participating Product to register the purchase and input the requested details excluding the serial number (Claimants must tick the relevant tick box to acknowledge the Participating Product is on back order) and including credit card details for the payment of $17.50 for postage and fulfilment. Payment of $17.50 for postage and fulfilment can only be made via credit card and payment will be processed at the time the claim is submitted online. Claimants will receive an email from the Promoter confirming that their back order claim form has been submitted and will include a unique claim number for future tracking of the claim (“Confirmation Email”).
A back order claim must be finalised within 21 days following the date the Participating Product on back order is received by the customer, and not later than 28/01/10. To complete the claim, the claimant must return to www.panasonic.com.au/bonushd and follow the prompts to the relevant section of the site to finalise back order claims. The claimant must enter their unique tracking number to upload their saved back order claim form and input the serial number of the Participating Product into the online claim form.
Claimants must then print off their completed online claim form, make record of their unique claim number, and mail both the online claim form and their original purchase receipt to ‘Panasonic VIErA Bonus Offer’ PO Box 566, Eastern Suburbs MC, NSW 2004. Final back order claims close last mail 28/01/10.
- Commercial or business transactions involving the purchase of the Participating Products, lay-by’s not paid in full by 24/12/09 and short term rental transaction contracts of less than 24 months are excluded from this offer (“Excluded Transactions”). The Promoter at its sole discretion shall have the right to refuse any claim for any Excluded Transaction.

Purchases of the Participating Product via eBay or similar online third party Internet websites are also excluded from this offer (“Excluded Purchase”). The Promoter at its sole discretion shall have the right to refuse any claim for any Excluded Purchase.

There will be a total of 44,000 gifts to be awarded for this promotion. The first 44,000 valid claims received will each be awarded a choice of one (1) of the above gifts subject to availability. In the case that a particular gift has been exhausted, the claimant will no longer have the option to select that particular gift on the online claim form upon claim. All valid claimants will be notified by mail that their claim has been verified and their names will be published on www.panasonic.com.au/bonushd on 20/01/2010 and 04/02/2010.

The Promoter's decision is final on all matters in this Promotion and no correspondence will be entered into.

A counter on the website will display the remaining number of gifts available for redemption (updated every few seconds and based on the online registration of the claim). The displayed number will include in the reduction all registered and pending claims as well as dispatched gifts. Once the 12,000 limit for each gift is reached, this will be indicated on the website.
The countdown timer featured on the promotional website will communicate the number of claims lodged online. Claimants are to be aware that the countdown clock may not be in real time and may experience a lag of several seconds. Claimants must also be aware that the countdown timer may change throughout the duration of their claim. In this respect, the countdown timer should be used as a guide only, and in some cases this may mean that all 12,000 claims for each gift have been registered by the time a claimant has completed their claim, although the countdown timer may have communicated otherwise at the time of initiating the claim. During the Promotional Period claimants may also send an SMS containing the word ‘BONUS’ to 0429 826 687 to find out how many gifts are left at that moment. SMS entry cost will vary dependent on the mobile network used but will not exceed 55c.

Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the claimant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
- All redemption claims must be posted within 21 days of the date of the purchase receipt from the participating retailer. Dated post stamps will be checked. Claim forms must be received by last mail Monday 14 January 2010 otherwise they will be deemed to be invalid. Invalid claims will not be eligible to receive the gift specified in clause 15. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for claims not processed or late or declined claims due to incorrect payment details. The Promoter is not responsible for deliveries of Participating Products that are late, lost or stolen.

Multiple gift redemptions are permitted, but are limited to three (3) per household, provided that each is associated with an individual purchase of a Participating Product through a participating retail outlet within Australia and each gift redemption entry is submitted separately for each purchase and includes a separate payment of $17.50 for postage and fulfilment for each claim, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

Promoter recommends claimants retain a copy of their purchase receipt(s) for all claims as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all claims when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of a claimant’s claims and forfeiture of any right to a gift.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of the gift redemption and the claimant’s details (including the claimant's identity and place of residence) and to disqualify any claimant who submits a gift redemption that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the gift redemption process. The Promoter reserves the right to contact the participating stores to determine when the Participating Products are delivered by the participating retail outlet in Australia when back order claims are submitted in accordance with Clause 1 (c). Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

If there is a dispute as to the identity of a claimant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the claimant.

Any incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible submission of a redemption claim will be deemed invalid. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any equipment, software or any injury or damage to a claimant’s or other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading of materials in relation to this Promotion.

The Promoter shall use all reasonable efforts to ensure that all approved claims will be fulfilled by registered post within eight (8) weeks from the time the redemption is received, along with the original purchase receipt. The Promoter accepts no responsibility should the delivery take longer than eight (8) weeks for reasons beyond its reasonable control.
- If the gift is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the gift with another gift of equal value.

If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to disqualify any claimant; or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel this Promotion, as appropriate, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
- Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees, agents and contractors) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of this Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in gift value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; or (f) use of the gift.

The Promoter shall not be responsible for any delays in supply of the gift to the participant as a result of the failure by the supplier of the gift to supply the number of units within the time specified to the Promoter. The Promoter shall additionally not be responsible for any delays caused as a result of inbound transportation, disruptions (including but not limited to strikes, weather, postage delays etc) which are caused by events, which are beyond the control of the Promoter and/or the supplier of the gift.
- The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter’s Privacy Officer. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
